10. SERENDIPITY  |  62ft

Serendipity, a 62 ft luxury yacht charter catamaran is best suited for 6 adults and 2 small children in its three cabins and two bunk beds. She features an 8-person motor dinghy, 4 SUPs, also fishing and snorkeling gear.

Her two-person crew consists of US-born captain Matthew, an erstwhile professional musician and bartender, who has been sailing in the Exuma Cays for over twelve years and has become intimately familiar with some truly prime spots. His favorite place on earth to sail is the Bahamas, especially the Exumas, which showcases the clearest water in the world and every shade of blue. Chef/ mate Jennica is from Sweden, and has been travelling and learning new things all over the world, including cooking, which she explores to perfection aboard Serendipity.

TIGER LILY features 4 cabins to accommodate 8 guests, and the rates are 34000 to 30000 USD per week (depending on high or low season) plus 4% tax and 10% VAT. Her captain, South African-born Indi Rooken-Smith is a surfer and an avid spear fisherman who has sailed all over the Eastern Caribbean, including scuba diving, free diving, and kite surfing among his interests. Chef/Stewardess Krystin Ibbotson is a well-traveled adventurer who loves exercise and the great outdoors.

“Indi did a fantastic job of skippering the boat. He provided great recommendations when the weather made us change our itinerary and always had our safety and comfort as a priority. Tiger Lily was very comfortable for our family and her condition was excellent. The selection of water toys was endless. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop during our week at sea. Although weather conditions required us to modify our initial itinerary, the suggestions provided by Indi were perfect. With a lot of creativity and flexibility, he will make sure to adapt menus to the guests’ preferences along with impressive cooking skills. Stewardess Estèle is a motivated and dynamic stewardess, prioritizing professionalism and high-end results in her work. SEMPER FIDELIS can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins consisting of a primary suite with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a VIP suite with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, and a cabin with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities. Amenities on board include a Jacuzzi on deck.

Cartouche is, in our experience, one of the best yacht charters to enjoy scuba diving both her Captain and Chef are PADI Divemasters and CMAS level 4 divers, and her stewardess is an Advanced Open Water diver as well as an expert in yoga & therapeutic, muscular & relaxation massages. Pauline Boulay, the yacht charter’s French chef, is proficient in French and Italian, West Indies, Polynesian, and Asian cuisine. She especially likes to cook fresh fish that she buys on the coast or the best way, the ones our guests catch!
