Warderick Wells is the headquarters of the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park, and the most strictly protected stretch of the whole chain: moorings instead of marinas, no fishing, no shell collecting, and reef that has stayed noticeably healthier for it. The Boo Boo Hill hike is the highlight, a short climb rewarded with driftwood signs left behind by decades of visiting yachts and one of the better views in the Exumas.
Don’t miss picking up a park mooring rather than anchoring, it protects the reef below and it’s usually cheaper than you’d expect.

Part of The Exumas, see the full destination guide for getting there and pairing this with the rest of the chain.
