Charter questions

Can any yacht start from any island in the Bahamas?

Not quite. Every yacht has a homeport, and in the Bahamas that is usually Nassau, so most charters start and end there. Starting somewhere else, deeper in the Exumas for example, is often possible, but it means repositioning the yacht and a delivery fee that reflects the fuel and crew time.

Sometimes that fee is worth it: a one-way or remote start can buy you a full extra day in the best part of the route. Sometimes it is not, and the smarter plan is boarding in Nassau and letting the itinerary flow naturally. We run the numbers both ways for you.

There are also physical limits: draft decides which marinas and cuts a yacht can enter. The more specific you are about where you want to start and finish, the faster we can tell you which boats genuinely fit the plan.
