Yes. DMA Yachting carries professional indemnity insurance up to EUR 500,000 with ITIC, the International Transport Intermediaries Club, the specialist insurer for yacht brokers and other transport intermediaries.

This matters more than it sounds. Yacht chartering runs on large wire transfers, so before you send a deposit to any broker, check that they are insured, reachable, and working under a proper charter contract. We are happy to be checked.

Note that this covers our work as your broker. It is separate from trip cancellation insurance for you as the guest. If you want your charter fee protected against illness, weather, or plans changing, ask your broker about cancellation and curtailment cover when you book.
