INEVITABLE spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was delivered by the famous yacht builder Hatteras in 2005. A well-done refit was delivered in 2020. The ingenious yacht layout features 5 large cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.
INEVITABLE is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, generously sized aft deck, is right next to the meticulously composed main saloon. Should the yacht secure another charter within 4 days of this booking, out of the same port, the amount will be split between the charters and the credit will be added to the Charterers APA account.

Darrell was born in Cape Town, South-Africa. After 7 years of initially working in electronics and product development he then ventured off to pursue his career in Yachting. Darrell has sailed 4 yachts across the ocean, with one winning a race from Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro. He is also a certified divemaster and in his spare time he loves to travel. He has a tremendous amount of love for classic cars and motorcycles. Darrell is easy going, fun loving and will give his utmost to ensure that your stay on Inevitable will be the best vacation you’ve had.
Mate Ewald Van Der Merwe
As a South African Ewald is proud of his heritage which he feels gives him a unique perspective on culture and diversity that sparked a passion to travel and explore the world. Ewald completed an 18-month Cadetship program with Meridian Adventure Sail that led him to working on INEVITABLE where he gained all-around experience onboard, both in the interior and on deck. He is eager to gain knowledge and experience through hard work in hopes of one day achieving his goal of Master in Command.
Stewardess Talia Keebler
Talia was born and raised in New Jersey and spent a few years living in Philadelphia before pursuing a career at sea. In her university years, she studied entertainment technologies of digital media and TV production and landed a job at NBC Sports Philadelphia as a production assistant while bartending in the city, creating new cocktail recipes on the side. While growing up in New Jersey, Talia spent much of her adolescence on her family’s winery and playing competitive travel soccer for several years. Her time playing soccer showed her the importance of working on a team to achieve one common goal, while her inclination for hospitality began on her family’s vineyard.Her interests include mixology, physical training and traveling. Talia believes in leaving the world better than she found it, including helping people become the best versions of themselves. Talia’s talents for making people laugh, and her love of learning new things, make her quite personable and hospitable. Talia has a lively and happy spirit which will always brighten up the room. If you have the pleasure of having Talia onboard, you’ll be sure to share a laugh and enjoy the best long island ice tea you can get your hands on!
Chef Antoinette Meyer
Antoinette was born and raised in Pretoria, South African. She developed a love for cooking and culinary arts at a young age by learning to cook alongside her grandmother. She finds great joy in creating unique and delicious dishes from around the world and sharing them with others. Aside from her passion for cooking, she has a deep love for sailing and traveling. Married to Captain Darrell, she has been able to mesh all the loves of her life with a career in yachting. In her free time she enjoys bird watching, diving and seeking out opportunities to experience new cuisines and flavors from different cultures. As a chef, Antoinette looks forward to providing her guests with a culinary experience that is both delicious and memorable.
