Presented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht HIGHLANDER is a 160 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. The primary distinction of HIGHLANDER are her well-chosen interiors and fantastic layout. HIGHLANDER spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was delivered by the ship builder Feadship in 1985. An elegant refit was fulfilled in 2014, 2018, and 2020. The ingenious yacht layout features 7 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.
HIGHLANDER is classified as a superyacht. The roomy aft deck, leads to the well-equipped and inviting main saloon. The main saloon is a well-design space that is well-equipped to shield from the elements in comfort and enjoyment and boasts a number of entertainment options. 7 welcoming cabins are purposefully laid out for maximum privacy and comfort.
The motor yacht features 2 x Detroit Diesels, 16V 900 HP each @ 1800 rpm; rebuilt 2013 engines .

Carl Beve | Captain
Nationality: Swedish
Captain Carl hails from a farming background in the Swedish Archipelago. He’s a versatile captain who loves exploring off-the-beaten-path cruising destinations. He earned a degree in political science before serving in the Swedish Airforce for his national service. At 23, he obtained his Master Mariner’s license and has worked in the Maritime industry since 1996. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing in the Artic regions of his home country, Sweden.
Rochelle Stebbing | Chief Officer
Nationality: South African
Rochelle grew up in the suburbs of Johannesburg close to the wild open bush. She was running a hotel in Fiji when she met her first yachties and heard about the industry. She then quit her job and has been yachting for 10 years. Having navigated the vast oceans and seas on passages across the globe, she aims to bring her knowledge and skills to create a unique experience onboard. Rochelle ensures that the exterior of the Yacht and toys operate above guest standards for the safety and enjoyment of all those on board. She is always looking for new ways to teach and encourage her team, as she strongly believes that keeping the crew happy will directly translate to the guest experience. Rochelle wants all guests to leave HIGHLANDER knowing they will never forget all of the new experiences they just had.
Camilla Forero | Chief Stewardess
Nationality: Colombian
Camilla was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She started her yachting career in 2017, including tours up and down the Eastern Seaboard, the Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. Camilla finds herself at home cruising the world’s seas while creating memorable experiences for guests worldwide thanks to her outgoing nature and an award-winning smile. She may even surprise you with one of her handmade table decorations – the kind of personal touch she likes to bring to help make your charter vacation unforgettable.
Victoria Nesbit | Chief Officer
Nationality: British
Victoria was born in the UK and has spent most of her life working in Europe since graduating from university. She started yachting in 2008 and has an extensive background in expedition sail yachts, covering 8 transatlantic, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and some northern latitudes, including Norway and the Faroes. Now as Chief Officer on board, she enjoys the daily opportunity to make your vacation unique and wonderful. She particularly enjoys Diving, SUP, and playing musical instruments.
Marina Evangelista | Stewardess
Nationality: Brazilian
Marina is a sea-enchanted Brazilian with 6yrs of Maritime background. Her pledge to provide the finest personal service and fulfill even the unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests is her highest mission. Her passion to immerse in different cultures took her to over 45 countries. This knowledge is key to enhancing our guests' experience onboard by surprising and delighting them at all times.
Raquel Iglesias | 2nd Stewardess
Nationality: Spanish
Raquel was born in Alicante, Spain, but for the last 6yrs, she has been based in Malta, crossing the Mediterranean every summer. Raquel worked as a nursing assistant in surgery before discovering her passion for the sea and her true vocation, where she enjoys putting a smile and unforgettable memories for every guest onboard. Her identity stamp is her sense of responsibility, perfectionism, eye for detail, and making other people happy.
Alain Delage | Chef
Nationality: French
Born in the gastronomical capital of the world, Paris, Alain’s passion for food and wine can be traced back to his DNA. His 30+ yrs of experience in some of the world’s top-ranked 3* Michelin Restaurants, a smattering of luxury Superyachts and Private Residences worldwide, ensures there isn’t much Chef Alain cannot conjure up. Skilled in Mediterranean, Asian, Central & Latin American, and Caribbean cuisine, to name but a few, he also enjoys experimenting with Mossic American, English, Greek, Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Global Fusion, Southwestern, Asian Fusion, Japanese, Molecular Gastronomy. In his free time, Alain enjoys expanding his wine knowledge (he is a master of wine) and getting back to nature, exploring, hiking, trekking, and skydiving with over 400 jumps. Alain is eager to bring his extensive background in high-end catering to guests on board M/Y HIGHLANDER.
Anna Sene | Stewardess
Nationality: Gibraltarian
Anna was born in Marbella, Spain, but she is half Gibraltarian and half Cuban. She has lived on and around boats her entire life. Her first years were spent on her father’s sailing boat to every guest who walked on board. Inna takes pride in taking calm and decisive action in pressurized situations, consistently meeting requests. Anna can’t wait to welcome guests onboard HIGHLANDER for an experience like no other.
Apostolos Gkontevas | Chief Engineer
Nationality: Greek
Apostolos was born in Athens and grew up in Piraeus, next to the biggest port in Greece. As an adolescent, he practiced martial arts and participated in the national championship of kickboxing, where he won two golden metals. Apostolos says that sports have taught him discipline, which has allowed him to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Apostolos has always been excited about yachts and decided to enter the industry in 2010. He has since been on various private and charter yachts sailing the waters of Greece, Italy, Turkey, France, Spain, Tenerife, Cavo Verde, the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. He has great organizational skills and an advanced capability of upkeeping the vessel to the highest standards. Apostolos wants guests to sit back, relax, and make remarkable memories they will carry for a lifetime. Apostolos’ passions include kickboxing, reading, and of course, engineering.
Yves Gautier | Chef
Nationality: French
Yves has worked as a chef since 1986. Before entering the yachting industry, he worked in various restaurants in Paris, the South of France, and St. Martin, including Michelin 2-star restaurant La Grande Cascade. In addition to being a Private Chef, in 2015, Yves opened his restaurant, Le Fruit de la Passion, which unfortunately closed down due to Hurricane Irma. Yves carefully constructs every menu based on guests' dietary restrictions. He can accommodate all allergies, including lactose, gluten, nuts, and vegetarian and vegan diets. His cooking style spreads across various cuisines such as French, Mediterranean, Kosher, Italian, North African, Japanese, Sushi and Maki, Middle East, Thai, Indian, South, and North American, and pastry and baking. Yves always ensures food and wine are paired well to enhance the guest experience. He is keen on the maintenance and hygiene of his kitchen, guaranteeing the proper cleaning, food storage, and handling. Yves is honored to have guests aboard his table on M/Y HIGHLANDER.
Matthew Lenehan | Chief Engineer
Nationality: New Zealand
Matthew was born in New Zealand but now calls Grecce home. I have been yachting for the last 15 years and enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people. I have always enjoyed being in and on the seas across the globe. I enjoy fishing, swimming, and surfing because of my love for the water. Away from the yacht, you are likely to find me on the golf course or in the snowboarding mountains.
Ricardo Zambrano | Deckhand
Nationality: Venezuelan
I have a family history of professional mariners and have enjoyed sailing with my family around Venezuela since I was a child. I take great pride in my work and am always keen to study and progress. I follow instructions well but can work autonomously with confidence and self-motivation. I have competed professionally as a Downhill Skateboarder in Central and South America. I enjoy practicing yoga daily, surfing as much as possible, scuba diving, hiking, sailing, and attending arts and music festivals.
Nicholas Frost | Bosun
Nationality: South African
Nicholas is passionate about the ocean and always wants to spend time below the surface. Growing up surfing, he developed a big fear of sharks but has since challenged himself to overcome his fear with the help of his scuba education. Facing his fears is one thing Nicholas tries to challenge himself to do on a regular, and he loves to encourage guests to do the same. Nicholas is eager to learn from everyone willing to teach him as he wants to work his way up to captain one day. Before entering yachting, Nicholas worked as a restaurant manager and bartender. You can find him running, golfing, hiking, surfing, swimming, scuba diving, or practicing photography in his spare time.
Karol Kurpinski | Deckhand
Nationality: Polish
Karol was born and raised in Gdansk, a city on the Baltic Sea in northern Poland. He is open-minded and loves working and being in touch with people. During Karol’s childhood, he participated in sports youth camps, where he did many water sports, including windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing, leading him to become a real water sports enthusiast. In the summertime, he used to work at a jet ski rental on the beach in Poland, and after getting familiar with the equipment, jet skiing has become one of his biggest loves. Last year Karol graduated from Gdynia Maritime University. After completing 1 year of apprenticeship onboard cargo, passenger, and sailing vessels, he became fascinated with the opportunity of exploring the world, which ultimately led him to the yachting industry. He is now eager to provide guests with an unforgettable experience using his knowledge in water activities. Karol regularly participates in Youth Exchanges with the ERASMUS+ project in his spare time. This allows him to meet new people around the world, develop his interpersonal skills and make international relations.
