Crew Information
Captain: Bobby Groves
CAPTAIN | Bobby Groves | British
Bobby was born and raised in Bath, UK, subsequently moving to Oxford to study business and law. Bobby’s professional career began as operations director for a creative studio in London but, inspired by his grandfather and choosing to follow in his footsteps, Bobby decided to pursue a life at sea.
Bobby has now logged over 100,000 nautical miles and has captained vessels up to 92m in length. He has extensive experience on both private and charter yachts, accruing valuable knowledge and constantly striving to achieve the highest standards. Bobby is currently working towards his Marshall Islands Unlimited License.
When it comes to cruising destinations, Bobby recommends the Caribbean, and specicifically Antigua, for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful beaches. For old-world charm, he says Italy’s Amalfi coast is hard to beat, and if you’re keen to venture further afield then the Seychelles top his list.
Bobby thinks B2’s beach club is the yacht's greatest feature - it resides beneath the aft swimming pool and is a spectacular spot to relax. The direct access to the water is ideal for those wanting to make use of B2’s toys, and he says the SeaBobs are great fun.
HEAD CHEF | Daniel Anderberg | Swedish
Head Chef Daniel comes from Sweden and has been busy in the kitchen since the age of 15. His career began in Michelin-starred restaurants, and he was involved in many exciting gastronomic projects before stepping into the superyacht galley.

One of his favorite destinations to have visited are the Exuma islands in the Bahamas, and he loves being part the process to create memorable guest experiences.
CHIEF STEWARDESS - ROTATIONAL | Abby Briers | British
Born in Amsterdam, raised in Cape Town, and commencing her professional career in the Middle East, the world has always been Abby’s oyster. With such an international background, it’s no surprise that Abby feels like she’s finally found her home on the water.
Abby is passionate about her job and sees being part of the team aboard the world’s finest superyachts, helping to create lifelong memories for charter guests, a true privilege.
Abby prides herself on delivering the highest levels of service and strives for excellence in every aspect of her work. She’s working to improve her wine and culinary understanding, and she thinks the many different places you can dine aboard HBC are what really set this yacht apart.
CHIEF STEWARDESS - ROTATIONAL | Hannah Barttelot | British
Hannah obtained a degree in social science from Brighton University and spent nine years in London working in financial fund management and the music industry before she moved into yachting.
