Crew Information
Captain: Jessica Bucklin
Captain: Jessica Bucklin
Jessica prides herself in being a curator of each charter guests' nautical experience. For first time sailors who want to learn the ropes, kindred spirits that live to sail, or those that just want to kick back and enjoy a leisurely cruise knowing they are in good hands, she molds to each dynamic seamlessly.
Beginning her career with tall ships and traditionally rigged vessels, Jessica has sailed on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. She has led sail training voyages and vessel deliveries as well as an assortment of unique charters and zodiac expeditions in various locations. Some of her favorite sailing has been the Baja peninsula as well as passages in and around the Caribbean.
When not on boats she enjoys swimming, reading, and drinking lots of tea.
Chef/mate: Justin Mayer
Justin is a deckhand, chef, stagehand, and actor (in no particular order, and sometimes all at once!) He holds a Master of Arts with Merit from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and at no point has he had a “real job.” He finds that his job is not something that can't be described in numbers and figures, rather that authentic feeling of connection and memories created through a symphony of senses. He sets the stage for joy and laughter, blends flavors that delight the taste-buds, and ensures comfort for a stress-free environment.
In his free time, Justin enjoys reading, video and board games, rock climbing, and playing the piano.
He is a member of British Actors' Equity and has been accused of having a sense of humor.
