CAPTAIN | ERIC ELLSON | AMERICAN
Eric was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Having not grown up next to the ocean, Eric had the 3 Rivers flowing through his state leading to the Mississippi. Eric always had a passion for water at a young age because he was a competitive swimmer. Eric had found his passion for the yachting industry at a young age, while his father was a private pilot in Egypt with his boss owning a boat. Eric soon got bored and asked if he could work on his father’s boss’s private yacht. Eric quickly fell in love with doing numerous tasks around the boat. He then went back to the states and finished his high school career with some community college. Eric knew that something was missing in his life, and soon remembered what he really loved was the ocean. Eric finished up a year of community college and moved to Florida to start in the yachting industry. He has now been in the industry for 9 years with his captain’s license for 2.5 of those 9 years. Eric has also done Engineering courses to improve himself in all aspects, Eric has extensive knowledge of navigating the Bahamas, the East Coast all the way up to Maine, and the West Coast of Florida, he has spent some time in the Mediterranean as well. DECKHAND | MAVRIK COLE | AMERICAN
Mavrik was born and raised in a small town outside of Houston, Texas. After bumping into a yacht captain in South Texas, and learning about the industry, Mavrik quickly packed his bags, and within two months moved to pursue his dreams of working onboard luxury yachts. He is always willing to help others on board and show guests a good time. Mavrik is an adventurer at heart and loves to explore local islands and learn about their history. He enjoys music, reading, ocean life, and making people smile. Mavrik has been described as having a “happy go lucky” attitude and looks forward to meeting new people to make lifelong memories with.
Fun Fact: Mavrik is very knowledgeable in The Bahamas' extensive history of Pirates and is currently working on his French and Spanish.
CHEF / STEWARD | GEOF | AMERICAN
Geof was born and raised in the states. After attending a prestigious Southern University and beginning a career in a Fortune 500 company, Geof resigned from his job to chase his passion for traveling, immersing himself into a wanderlust which led him to a decades-long career in yachting. After many years of trekking the globe, owning a popular lounge in southern Belize, and building a home in Guatemala, Geof still remains true to himself by doing what he loves, traveling, and making others happy. He enjoys hiking the numerous volcanoes of Central America, creating unique specialized events for his guests, and has an eye for perfection.
Fun Fact: He loves being called by his Guatemalan nickname “Tito” and his life mantra is “Make It Happen”
